Polytopic LPV Modeling of Aircrafts' Longitudinal Motion

  • Abstract:Compared with linear model, linear parameter varying (LPV) model shows preferable performance in simulating dynamic response of the corresponding nonlinear system. Based on the general nonlinear aircraft dynamics system, this paper studies the method of transferring nonlinear system into a poly topic LPV model which can be used in integrated design of LPV control, and in this way, a model foundation for further LPV control research can be established. An LPV model of nonlinear system has been established by function substitution. Subsequently, the poly topic LPV model is obtained by high order singular value decomposition (HOSVD) with LPV model. Finally, the feasibility and validity of the method are verified by the numerical simulation. © 2018 IEEE.
