LPV Robust Suppresion Control for Fight in Turbulent Wind

  • Abstract:This article deals with the suppression control of aircraft flying through wind shear turbulence. Based on a linear parameter varying (LPV) flight dynamics model (FDM) with wind shear effects, a robust controller with the LPV FDM is studied, in which turbulent wind is treated as external uncertain input. According to civil aircraft's flight quality, performance criterion of LPV robust controller was designed. The suppression control for LPV FDM was treated as an LPV system parameter-dependent γ -performance output feedback control which can be solved by Linear Matrix inequalities (LMIs). Results indicate that, Compared with baseline controller designed by LQR method, the robust control law shows stronger ability for turbulent wind suppression. © 2018 IEEE.
