A Novel Vibration Control for Magnetically Suspended Rotor System with Two-stage Notch Filters

Abstract:This paper presents a novel two-stage vibration control method to suppress the synchronous vibration torques for variable speed magnetically suspended rotor (MSR) system with gyroscopic effects. Firstly, the model of the synchronous vibration torques rising from the rotor dynamic imbalances is constructed. Then, the vibration control method with the proposed two-stage notch filter is designed to suppress the synchronous vibration torques. Finally, the simulation confirms the effectiveness of the proposed suppression method. © 2018 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
