Vibration suppression control for MSFW with gyroscopic effects using synchronous rotate frame

Abstract:Vibration brings adverse effects to Magnet Suspended Flywheel (MSFW), to suppress the synchronous vibration torques in MSFW with significant gyroscopic effects, a Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) method is applied. In this paper, the vibration torques model of MSFW is established, from which the baseline control method is derived. Then the principle of SRF is analyzed, which aims at suppressing synchronous vibration torques through attenuating synchronous components in coil currents. Moreover, the stability of the closed loop system is analyzed. At last, the effectiveness of SRF is proved through simulation. © 2018 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
