  • Abstract:The dynamic equations with tooth surface friction were established by using lumped parameter method. The rigid body displacement of the transmission system was eliminated according to the closed-loop characteristics of the system. The Runge-Kutta method was used to obtain the influence of torsional stiffness on the dynamic load sharing coefficient of the transmission system. The load sharing performance test and comparative analysis of the transmission system under two sets of parameters and three operating conditions were carried out. The results show that the large deformation obtained by reducing torsional stiffness of the duplicate shaft can effectively compensate for the system deflection angle caused by the gear center displacement and gear backlash, and improve the load sharing performance. The relative error between the test value and the theoretical value of load sharing coefficient is less than 10%. Under the same operating condition, the test values of the load sharing performance obtained by the second sets are lower than those of the first sets, which verifies the validity of theoretical model. In order to obtain better load sharing performance, the flexibility of the duplicate shaft can be maximized under the condition of satisfying strength. © 2019, Central South University Press.
