Abstract:This technical note addresses stabilization issue of switched nonlinear systems where all modes may be unstable. Sufficient conditions are provided under which a periodical switching law is proposed to guarantee the asymptotical stability of the origin. The new result is applied to target aggregation of multi-agent systems in leader-following structure with switching connection topology, where each following agent may run far away from the target without cooperation. An aircraft team example illustrates the efficiency of the proposed approach.
