Title of Paper:Frequency tunable miniaturized quarter-mode SIW antenna based on CRLH-TL

Abstract:This paper presents a frequency tunable miniaturized quarter-mode SIW antenna which is based on C R L H - T L structure. Because of the zeroth-order resonance feature of the C R L H - T L structure, the size of the antenna can be substantially reduced to 0.0.1M by etching the interdigital slot on the surface of the SIW. Meanwhile, the resonant frequency can be tuned between 2.3GHz and 2.57 GHz by changing the bias voltage from 0 to 20V, the tunning range is 270MHz, the maximum gain of this antenna is -2.9dBi. Good agreements between the simulated and measured reflection coefficients and radiation patterns are observed. © Institution of Engineering and Technology.All Rights Reserved.
