  • Abstract:In surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) sensor-less control based on high-frequency (HF) pulsating voltage injection, inverter nonlinearity gives rise to 6th harmonic error in the estimated position. Firstly, this very error was theoretical analyzed. Secondly, an inverter nonlinearity compensation strategy using second-order generalized integrator (SOGI) was proposed. The SOGI was adopted in HF signal extraction and harmonic error elimination. Thirdly, an error feed-forward compensator was used in the position PLL to compensate for the signal delay caused by 2 integrators. Lastly, the experimental results demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed strategy by a 1.5kW-SPMSM vector controlled system. © 2018 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
