Abstract:In this paper, a new fault identification scheme is proposed for turboshaft engines, in which a fractional-order sliding mode observer is designed to reconstruct the fault signal. A fractional-order sliding surface is adopted. The reachability of sliding mode and the convergence of fault reconstruction error are proven. Simulation on a turboshaft engine model demonstrate the excellent effect of the proposed fault identification scheme.
