摘要:A bridgeless power factor correction (PFC) converter with integrated Buck converter and its control method were proposed. Both step-up and step-down voltage conversion are realized with the proposed converter. Hence, the output voltage can be regulated in a wide range. With carrier-based PWM strategy, the converter can work in single-stage or quasi-single-stage mode according to the relationship between the AC input voltage and DC output voltage. Only a small ratio of power is processed by the integrated Buck converter while most of the power is processed by single-stage. Lower conduction and switching losses are achieved due to the reduced conversion stages and three-level characteristics. The operation principles, control strategies and characteristics of the proposed converter were analyzed in detail. Experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed solutions. © 2018 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
