Abstract:This paper studies the main feeder wiring strategy of the hollow cable in aircrafts. The impedance characteristics of hollow cables of variable frequency are studied firstly. Then the hollow cable is applied to the typical wiring strategy of the main feeder in the aircraft. The impedance and carrying capacity of hollow cable are respectively compared with those of the traditional circular cable. Comparisons show that the hollow cable can reduce the impedance by 14%, and the final temperature rise declines by 15 degrees C with the same carrying capacity. This is of a greater value for engineering applications.
