Dr. Ning QIAN is now an associate professor at the Institute of High Precision and Efficiency Manufacturing (HEPM), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). He achieved his Ph.D. from the same university, and he received an Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Award in Jiangsu Province. In 2021, he was granted by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. In 2022, he received the Outstanding postdoctoral program in Jiangsu Province, National Natural Science Foundation Program. He also achieved the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Award, Inventions Geneva Bronze medal, and Metal-cutting Innovation Award.

He is a member of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA), Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Chinese Society of the Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CTAM), and Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics (CSET).
