Abstract:The characteristics of the contactless power converters are affected by a number of parameters, and there are several design considerations for a contactless converter, which brings great difficulties for the design optimization. Based on the constraints of multiple conditions in practical converter design, a fast hybrid multi-objective algorithm with merit of differential and non-domination algorithm is proposed to optimize efficiency, input phase angle and power density for multiple objectives. Finally, this algorithm optimization is used to design a S/P compensated contactless converter compared with traditional design method to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed approach. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm method.
