Hamed Badihi received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University, Montréal, Québec, Canada, in 2016. He was a Horizon Postdoctoral Fellow with Concordia University for two years. Dr. Badihi is currently a Associate Professor with the College of Automation Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. His research interests are in all aspects of condition monitoring, fault diagnostics, prognostics, fault-tolerant control (FTC) and fault-tolerant cooperative control (FTCC) when applied to problems in cyber-physical energy systems. Specific research areas include: wind turbines, solar photovoltaic systems, renewable microgrids and smart grid.  

Dr. Badihi is a Senior Member of IEEE Control Systems Society and Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME).
