Hamed Badihi received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University, Montréal, Québec, Canada, in 2016. He was a Horizon Postdoctoral Fellow with Concordia University for two years. Dr. Badihi is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Automation Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. His research interests are in all aspects of condition monitoring, fault diagnostics, prognostics, fault-tolerant control (FTC) and fault-tolerant cooperative control (FTCC) when applied to problems in cyber-physical energy systems. Specific research areas include: wind turbines, solar photovoltaic systems, renewable microgrids and smart grid.
Dr. Badihi is a member of IEEE Control Systems Society and Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME).
Condition monitoring, fault-tolerant and cyber-attack-resilient control of dependable cyber-physical renewable energy systems. Specific research areas include their applications in wind turbines and wind farms, solar photovoltaic systems, smart grids, and microgrids.
