Abstract:Macroporous alumina films were prepared by double anodic oxidation with constant direct current in phosphoric acid-oxalic acid solution using pure aluminum. The film was further oxidized using neutral weak cation solution in a three-electrode system to prepare mesoporous alumina films, which were then treated by constant voltage anodization in sulfuric acid solution to prepare microporous films. The morphology and composition of the alumina films were characterized, and the silane corrosion inhibitor adsorption and loading performance of the alumina films were studied with Raman spectroscopy. The corrosion resistance of these films with silane corrosion inhibitors was tested by electrochemical measurements and the optimum pore size and silane corrosion inhibitor concentration were obtained. The results of electrochemical measurements show that the electrochemical impedance of the mesoporous films can reach up to 107. © 2019, Editorial Board of "Journal of Chemical Engineering of Chinese Universities".
