Abstract:The solution of solving synchronous angle was given for a single-input cylindrical gear split-torque transmission with gear errors. The defection angles of big gear in split torque stage caused by torsional deformation of duplicate gear shaft, gear engagement distortion and gear center displacement were driven. Impact of torsional stiffness of duplicate gear shaft, bending deformation of step shaft, support stiffness of transmission shaft and comprehensive gear errors on static load-sharing characteristics of system was analyzed after analyzing key influencing factors on the defection angles of big gear in split torque stage. The results show that the key influencing factors on the defection angle of big gear in split torque stage are torsional deformation of duplicate gear shaf and displacement of gear center. The decrease of torsional stiffness of duplicate gear shaft is contributive to the improvement of load sharing. Bending deformation has influence on load sharing. Load sharing is sensitive to support stiffness of duplicate gear shaft. Comprehensive error of synthesized torque stage has larger influence on load sharing than that of split torque stage. © 2017, Central South University Press. All right reserved.
