罗宇教授,南京航空航天大学电子信息工程学院,海外高层次引进人才,江苏省特聘教授,2012年于帝国理工物理系取得博士学位,师从于电磁超材料之父John Pendry爵士,2015至2023年在新加坡南洋理工大学执教,任光电子与生物光子中心副主任,研究方向为电磁超材料、表面等离激元、纳米光子学等。主要从事电磁超材料、表面等离激元、纳米光子学、变换光学、拓扑光子学等前沿交叉领域研究,研究电磁超材料在信号产生、传输、处理、控制和测量方面的新机理和新方法,突破传统微波光子技术在带宽、损耗、电磁干扰、多通道传输方面的关键瓶颈,在航空、航天、国防领域形成创新应用,为雷达系统、天地一体化网络、航电系统及深空探测中的关键理论和技术突破奠定基础。在包括Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Electronics,Nature Physics,Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials,等在内的国际知名SCI期刊发表论文百余篇。成果入选2024中国光学十大进展。

团队隶属于南京航空航天大学电子信息与工程学院微波光子技术国家重点实验室(天元实验室),由国家重大人才工程A类创新人才罗宇教授和学院副院长李茁教授共同领导。课题组长期从事电磁超材料、表面等离激元、纳米光子学和变换光学等前沿交叉领域的研究,聚焦于超材料的多物理调控和光电融合。团队现有正高级3人次,副高级3人次,近三年在Nature Photonics、Nature Communications、Advanced Materials、Physical Review Letters等国际顶刊发表学术论文达60余篇。
