摘要:Based on an axisymmetric exhaust system, a serpentine 2-D exhaust system with small middle offset-diameter ratio (Sm/D) and exit offset-diameter ratio (So/D) greater than zero was established. Excepting the range of 0° to 20° on the upper detection plane, the serpentine 2-D exhaust system could completely blocked the infrared (IR) radiation of internal components such as turbine and cone, etc. at other detection directions studied in this work. The thrust and IR characteristics of the serpentine 2-D exhaust system were studied numerically. The results show that, the serpentine 2-D exhaust system has little thrust loss because of small Sm/D and large L/D, and the thrust of the serpentine 2-D exhaust system increases 0.2% compared with the axisymmetric exhaust system; the integral IR radiation intensity of the serpentine 2-D exhaust system is the weakest on the side detection plane while the strongest on the upper detection plane; comparing with the axisymmetric exhaust system, the integral IR radiation intensity of the serpentine 2-D exhaust system reduces at least 97% at the angle on the direction right behind the exit of the nozzle, and reduces at least 62.1%, 26.1% and 34.9% on the direction vertical to the axis of the exit of the nozzle on the side, upper and lower detection planes respectively. © 2017, Science Press.
