摘要：Two-dimensional Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images do not provide ground topography or height information explicitly. However, height information is implicitly present in layover phenomenon observed in SAR images. We analyze the differential layover between two SAR images and use our analysis to estimate height. Our method is applicable to arbitrary imaging geometries and does not rely on the far-field and small scene assumptions. We present numerical simulations to demonstrate our height estimation method.
