Title of Paper:Design and Rotor Strength Analysis of a Hybrid Excitation Synchronous Machine with Dual-Direction Built-in Field Windings

Journal:Diangong Jishu Xuebao

Abstract:This paper introduces the topology and principle of a new hybrid excitation synchronous machine with dual-direction built-in field windings. In view of the serious problem of solid rotor eddy current loss, the combined rotor is presented and the soft magnetic composite (SMC) material is utilized on the surface of solid rotor. Furthermore, the modular method is applied to improve the processing technology of the three-dimensional rotor structure. Considering the tensile strength limitations of SMC material, carbon fiber is used to strengthen the rotor, and the rotor structure strength is analyzed. This paper lays a foundation for the optimization of the new hybrid excitation synchronous machine structure. © 2018, Electrical Technology Press Co. Ltd. All right reserved.
