致力于片上系统的验证、测试、设计和硬件安全研究,主要针对系统芯片的多核测试与验证、硬件木马检测、系统芯片的安全防护等方向开展了深入的研究,近年来在IET CDS, IET CDT, MOP Letters等刊物上和硬件安全国际顶级会议上发表和录用学术论文数十余篇,授权专利20余项,申请专利30余项。主持国家自然科学基金、航空科学基金、江苏省产学研创新基金等,并参与国家重大专项、国防基础预研项目等。获国防科技进步一等奖1项、中国航空学会科学技术奖二等奖1项,国防科学技术发明奖三等奖1项。江苏省集成电路学会封测专委,“能量转换和半导体器件”国内技术工作组专家。
微电子专业核心主干课“集成电路测试与可测性设计”和江苏省一流本科课程“微机原理与应用”的主讲教师,主持教育部产学研协同育人项目,主编国家“十三五规划”教材。
现为IEEE TCAD, TVLSI, 《电子学报》审稿人,IEEE AsianITC会议分会主席。
