Time-splitting combined with exponential wave integrator fourier pseudospectral method for Schr?dinger–Boussinesq system

Abstract:In this article, we formulate an efficient and accurate numerical method for approximations of the coupled Schrödinger–Boussinesq (SBq) system. The main features of our method are based on: (i) the applications of a time-splitting Fourier spectral method for Schrödinger-like equation in SBq system, (ii) the utilizations of exponential wave integrator Fourier pseudospectral for spatial derivatives in the Boussinesq-like equation. The scheme is fully explicit and efficient due to fast Fourier transform. The numerical examples are presented to show the efficiency and accuracy of our method. © 2017 Elsevier B.V.
