Profile

Assist. Prof. Dr. Luoman Zhao has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Design at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics since 2024. She earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Landscape Architecture at RWTH Aachen University in 2023. Her research focuses on edible landscapes, food systems and food planning. She is dedicated to advancing resilient and sustainable food systems and ensuring food security for vulnerable populations. She has got several research funding, like the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities focusing on sustainable food systems and the Start-up Research Foundation of Recruiting Talents of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics which aims to improve urban food production.
