Abstract:The casual relationship between defense expenditure and economic growth has been debated for decades. While this paper focuses on the sustainability of defense expenditure. Amount Degree of Grey Incidences and Elasticity of Grey Incidences are proposed according to the thoughts of Grey Incidence Analysis. The relation between defense expenditure and economic growth of the big countries are analyzed with the new methods. Some countries such as France and South Korea have good sustainability of defense expenditure, while several countries are facing a grim situation.
