Abstract:This paper studies the problem of how to determine a satisfying alternative of all decision makers (DMs) in multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM), which uses interval grey numbers as attribute values, and the weights of DMs are unknown. The ranking of alternatives of different DMs in group decision making are usually inconsistent, which creates conflict among DMs. To deal with this conflict, the indispensible conflict elements in MAGDM are extracted from the framework of the graph model for conflict resolution which in turn can provide an approach to acquiring stable alternative for MAGDM. Then, a dynamic interaction mechanism is devised for unstable DMs in which their attribute values are adjusted gradually according to the conflict degree of each attribute. This will show the process of how various DMs reach consonant cognition via several rounds of information exchanges. The method in this article not only concerns all DMs' opinions but also avoids the influence of DMs' weight vectors to the final decision result. Finally, validity and practicality of the proposed method are verified through a practical example. Compared with some existing methods, this study provides a new framework to real world MAGDM problems.
