Abstract:In recent years, with gradual improvement and upgrade, MATLAB has more abundant data types and its operation interface is more convenient. In addition, MATLAB of the latest version provides many features like graphic processing, scientific computing and symbol calculation, numerically solves the differential equations, matrixes and polynomial operations, and automatically selects the most appropriate algorithm based on different characteristics of the problems proposed by the users. It can thus be seen that MATLAB has incomparable advantages in terms of numerical calculation of ordinary differential equations compared to other software. Consequently, starting from a few practical examples, numerical calculations and solutions to the ordinary differential equations under the MATLAB environment is studied in this paper.
