1998.10~1998.11: German study at Goethe Institute, Munich;

1998.12-1999.11: Received the Max Planck Scholarship to control the spectrometer of space telescope SOPHIA at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics, Munich

1999.12-2000.12 Supported by DFG, worked in Medical School of University of Wurzburg, Germany, engaged in the manufacture and measurement of micro-displacement sensors.

§5. Undertaking the project and related contents

He has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects and nearly 20 other projects. The longitudinal projects he presided over mainly include: One 863-703 project, one international cooperation project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one major instrument special project of the Natural Science Foundation, one sub-project of the support plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one key research and development sub-project, and three science and technology projects of the State Administration for Market Regulation; One Chinese Academy of Sciences Overseas student Return fund, one natural Science Fund of Jiangsu Province, one international cooperation project of Jiangsu Science and Technology Department, one social development project of Jiangsu Science and Technology Department, one key research and development project, and two projects of Jiangsu Market Supervision Administration.

Hosted by the longitudinal and transverse project of the main research contents include the optical information processing of optical synthetic aperture technology, optical fiber displacement sensor technology, the electromagnetic + high-speed optical method to realize the high-speed rail track whole section nondestructive testing, eddy current nondestructive testing technology, research and development of ultrasonic phased array instrument, laser ultrasonic technology, high temperature and non-contact measurement and research as well as in nondestructive testing applications Irradiation embrittlement of reactor pressure vessel steel application of pressure vessel, pipeline corrosion, crack defect detection technology research and development, the increase of material manufacturing defect detection, high temperature on-line detection technology research and development, research and development of magnetic flux leakage testing method of steel wire rope broken wires detector, face verification instrument based on image processing technology research and development, the remote sensing image feature information extraction processing, digital X-ray defect interpretation technology research.

 

§6. Student training

He has trained more than 90 masters and doctors. The school has 5 doctoral students and 13 master's students

Guided graduate students to obtain 15 university-level and provincial-level graduate innovation fund projects.

Guided undergraduates in 4 national science and technology innovation projects and 2 provincial science and technology innovation projects.
