Abstract:This paper proposes a systematic stochastic state-space modeling method for imposing desired statistics of actual measured data of arbitrary non-stationary power system uncertainty. We solve the difficulties of accurately modeling various stochastic uncertainties including complex behaviors in power systems such as the anomalous jumps of power oscillations through developing two theorems and four algorithms. The validity of proposed scheme is verified by performing simulations using real wind speed data, electricity consumption data, and hydropower data.
