Profile

    Wang Xiaolun was born in 1989 in Nantong, Jiangsu, China. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, College of Economics and Management, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Renmin University of China and Doctoral Degree from Fudan University (supervisor: Professor Ling Hong), majoring in Management Information Systems. She stayed in Georgia Institute of Technology (supervisor: Professor Zhang Han) for one year as a co-supervised Ph.D. After she graduated, she worked in School of Economics & Management in Nanjing University of Science & Technology, and stayed in Humboldt University of Berlin (supervisor: Professor Stefan Lessmann) for one year as a visiting scholar. Her research interests include social media, word-of-mouth, crisis spillover, mobile commerce, and user information behavior.

    Currently, She has hosted 5 research projects (including national, provincial and university-level projects), and participated in 4 national major projects and general projects. Se has published nearly 30 papers in Intenational and Chinese journals such as Information & Management, JASIST, Internet Research, Nankai Management Review, Journal of the China Society for Scientific and Technical Information, and Management Science. Among them, she was the first author or corresponding author for 19 papers, 6 papers were SCI/SSCI  indexed (3 papers were published in ABS three-star journals), 10 papers were CSSCI indexed (3 papers were published in national A-class journals), and 12 papers were EI indexed. She has attended many top conferences such as ICIS, PACIS, INFORMS, and HCII. She also served as a reviewer for Information & Management, JASIST, IPM, ECRA and other journals. Currently, she is a member of AIS (Information System Association) and a member of the Council of China Information Economics Society. In 2018, she was awarded Doctor of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship in Jiangsu province.
