Abstract:A tunable metamaterial absorber/cross-polarization reflector is proposed and simulated. The absorber/cross-polarization reflector consisted of resonator and the ground plane, separated by the dielectric. The silicon is utilized as a regulator between absorber and cross-polarization reflector. As an absorber, the absorption rate can reach to 90%. As a crosspolarization reflector, the traditional polarization reflectance (TPR), cross polarization reflectance (TPR) and polarization conversion rate (PCR) are researched. The maximum value of polarization conversion rate (PCR) can reach to 79.5%, through change the conductivity of silicon. Moreover, the device is polarization reflector.
