乐美龙，博士、教授、博士生导师，民航运输管理与机场运行与管理专业建设委员会主任。1998年被评为交通部跨世纪青年骨干教师，获特别研究支持。1999年，任上海交通大学交通运输学科副教授，历任系主任助理、副系主任。2005年，任上海交通大学交通运输学科教授、博士生导师，历任系主任、副院长。2007年兼任上海交通大学管理科学与工程第二学科博导。期间曾被评为上海交通大学十大教学新秀、优秀教师奖等荣誉称号。

    乐美龙研究领域为交通运输规划与管理，主要方向为交通运输优化、交通运输与物流规划、交通运输企业发展战略等。其研究工作和所教的课程主要围绕运筹优化。去美之前，其主要应用领域在水运。在该领域发表论文100余篇，出版著作5本、合著2本、教材4本。2007年去美后，在国际航空运输泰斗ELLIS JOHNSON院士的鼓励下，开始转向航空运输优化研究，主要从事航班恢复（包括飞机恢复、机组恢复、行程恢复、综合恢复）研究，回国后，其研究领域逐渐扩大到舱位控制与收益管理、航线网络布局、登记口指派及资源配置分散度研究等，与美日欧大学有关教授建立有较为稳定的合作关系。近三年在该领域发表论文23篇，其中SCI 2篇、EI 3篇。目前主持有自科基金项目一项，企业委托课题二项。主要研究方向为航空运输优化、综合运输系统优化、交通运输发展战略等。联系邮箱：MEILONGLE@HOTMAIL.COM;(常用）；LEMEILONG@126.COM（备用）。

Bio of Dr. Meilong LE 

    Dr. LE got his PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU). He was associate professor, full professor, PhD candidate supervisor of SJTU successively in track of both transportation engineering & management science and engineering. For a long time, he served as departmental chair, institutional vice-dean and responsible professor of transportation engineering discipline. In 2007, he joined Georgia Institute of Technology(GT) and kicked off his air transportation research career. Since then he has been publishing more than 50 papers in air transportation engineering. He has been directing 100+ PhD and master degree candidates including international doctoral students as a supervisor. Most of them got their PhD or Master degree within three years. In 2015, he joined Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(NUAA) as a professor and PhD supervisor. The courses he taught in NUAA include Model Building for Mathematical Optimization(In English), Air Transportation System Analysis and Modelling(In English) and Forecasting and Decision-making(In Chinese). His main interests include airlines operation optimization, airport operation optimization and revenue management. In management school, he also tutors doctoral student in management science and engineering with main focus on air transport management and developing strategy.
