Abstract:Both relative fairness concern and remanufacturability design are simultaneously integrated into a manufacturer-remanufacturer supply chain. Decision models in the outsourcing and authorization remanufacturing scenarios are formulated to study the choice of cooperation mode for remanufacturing from the viewpoint of the manufacturer. Then, the impacts of the remanufacturer's relative fairness concern and the remanufacturability design of product on quantity-pricing decision and member's profits are investigated in the optimal remanufacturing cooperation mode. Finally, the corresponding coordination strategy is designed. The results show that the authorization remanufacturing is always dominated by the outsourcing remanufacturing from the perspective of the manufacturer. In the outsourcing remanufacturing supply chain, relative fairness concern of the remanufacturer will reduce the manufacturer's profits, but it can improve the system profit of the supply chain. Meanwhile, remanufacturability design is always conducive to the remanufacturer. Outsourcing price contract can realize the coordination of the outsourcing remanufacturing supply chain. © 2018, Editorial Office of Control and Decision. All right reserved.
