Abstract:A kind of magnetic suspension dynamic vibration absorber with compact structure is discussed. Compared with the traditional mechanical vibration absorber, it has the following advantages: no mechanical contact, simple structure and long service life. The system structure and working principle of the magnetic suspension dynamic vibration absorber are analyzed and the theoretical model of vibration absorber system is established. The comparison of the vibration situation of main system between before working and after working of the vibration absorber is presented by simulation. The paper proves that the amplitude of vibration absorber can meet the requirements of mechanical structure when the damping effect is the best. Experiments are conducted to prove the effectiveness of vibration reduction performance of magnetic suspension dynamic vibration absorber, which is consistent with the theory. © 2017, Editorial Board of Journal of Vibration Engineering.
