Abstract:In this paper, the small fatigue crack behavior in titanium alloy TC4 under different stress levels was investigated. Single-edge-notch tension specimens were axially fatigued with stress ratio of 0.1 at room temperature. Results show that the naturally initiated cracks nucleate from the alpha/beta interfaces. When the crack is below a critical length of similar to 200 mu m, crack growth rates exhibit large fluctuations and temporary retardations due to microstructure effects. But once the crack length exceeds similar to 200 mu m, the fluctuations in crack growth rates die down and the crack grows more rapidly. There is no distinct effect of stress level on small crack growth rate. A linear relationship exists between the total fatigue life and crack initiation life.

1998年9月~2009年9月本科、硕士和博士均就读于南京航空航天大学能源与动力学院航空发动机专业。2009年10月至今就职于南京航空航天大学能源与动力学院,现担任中国航空发动机集团科技委结构强度与振动专业委员会委员。主要从事发动机结构完整性和耐久性方面的教学和科研工作,研究兴趣包括:发动机结构静强度分析与设计技术,发动机结构疲劳寿命预测技术,发动机结构损伤容限设计与试验技术,发动机结构蠕变分析与持久寿命预测技术,发动机寿命监视与寿命管理技术,发动机结构方案设计技术。先后主持军科委基础加强项目课题、“两机专项”基础研究项目专题、国家自然科学基金、航空科学基金、国防预研等科研课题10余项。荣获省部级科技成果三等奖1项(排名第三),发表学术论文60余篇(其中SCI/EI检索论文30余篇)。
