Dong Hao, Ph.D., is from Huai'an, Jiangsu Province. He is an associate professor and a master's supervisor in the Testing Engineering Department of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the College of Control Science and Engineering of Shandong University in 2014. In 2019, he obtained a Ph.D. from the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science of Zhejiang University. During his doctoral studies, he received honors such as the National Scholarship for Postgraduate Students, Outstanding Graduate of Shandong Province, and Outstanding Graduate of Zhejiang University. Subsequently, he served as a joint postdoctoral fellow at Zhejiang Lab and Zhejiang University, and was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for Postdoctoral Researchers at Zhejiang Lab. In 2025, he joined the Testing Engineering Department of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and became an associate professor. He has been conducting research in areas such as photoelectric sensing technology, biochemical analysis and detection instruments, and multimodal perception systems. He has been responsible for 5 longitudinal projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation Exploration Project, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. As a key member， he has participated in projects such as the Zhejiang Provincial Key Research and Development Plan.  He has published over 30 SCI journal papers，including 11 as the first or corresponding author，with 3 papers on the cover of journals such as Advanced Science (IF = 17.521) and Analytical Chemistry (IF = 6.2). Relevant achievements have been reported by renowned media such as the Scientist，Fox News，and Medscape. He received the Outstanding Paper Award at the CBME 2015 China Biomedical Engineering Conference. He has applied and obtained more than 10 patents and 5 software copyrights. He is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and the Micro-Nano Technology Society. He has served as a reviewer for international journals such as Sensor Actuat. B-Chem.，Commun. Biol.，and ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces.
