Abstract:A hybrid predictive control strategy is proposed which can efficiently deal with the speed regulation control of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in wind-energy conversion system. A single linear MPC controller is designed with a simpler linearization model. Model predictive controller generates control voltages which are iuput into PWM controller. Thus PMSG can be controlled by three-phase inverter while the duty cycles are generated by PWM predictive controller. Simulation results indicate that the proposed control strategy has the simple structure, small calculation demand, and good control performance.
