摘要:A novel quasi-zero-stiffness (QZS) vibration isolation system based on cross-ply composite laminates was proposed in this paper. A theoretical model and a finite element model (FEM) were established to explore the bistability and negative stiffness characteristics of cross-ply composite laminates with residual thermal stress. The deformation range corresponding to the negative stiffness was narrowed as the thickness of the laminate increases. As long as the laminate thickness is slightly thicker than a critical thickness, the cross-ply laminate loses bistability and then shows the characteristics of quasi-zero-stiffness. The proposed vibration isolator takes advantage of the quasi-zero-stiffness of cross-ply laminate. The characteristics of the proposed isolator was evaluated theoretically and numerically, and compared with the corresponding linear vibration isolation system. The proposed QZS vibration isolator exhibits lower nature frequency than the linear isolator. Moreover, significant lower acceleration transmissibility and wider frequency range of vibration isolation were observed for the QZS vibration isolator. © 2018, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
