Abstract:In this paper, a multi-layer modified circular ring absorber is introduced on the basis of the ordinary circular ring. Simulations results are shown that the absorptivity is more than 90% in the frequency range from 5.5GHz to 19GHz under the normal incidence, the bandwidth is achieved up 13.5GHz, covering C, X, and Ku bands. The FSS structure exhibits the stable response for both TE and TM polarizations. The detailed results of different incident wave angles (0° /15° /30° /45°) are also given in this paper. © 2017 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society.
