Abstract:In order to study the internal flow field and temperature field of the oil-immersion lubrication gearbox, RNG k-Ε model, VOF(volume of fluid) model and dynamic mesh model were used to simulate the internal flow field of the gearbox. The steady-state temperature field of gearbox was simulated by using MRF(multiple reference frame) model. The factors affecting the temperature field such as gear speed, oil immersion depth and oil viscosity were analyzed. The results show that the oil-gas distribution, velocity field and pressure field in the gearbox can be well simulated by using the dynamic mesh method. The steady-state temperature field of the gearbox can be analyzed by using MRF model. The gear speed, depth of oil immersion, viscosity of lubricating oil have great influence on the temperature of gear meshing surface. © 2019, Central South University Press. All right reserved.
