MUHAMMAD JAMIL, Associate Professor, Ph.D., Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his Bachelor and Master degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Taxila, Pakistan between 2010-2016. He is Register Engineer (RE) of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He joined as Senior Lecturer at Swedish College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), WahCantt, Pakistan between 2016-2017. He did his "PhD in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation" and "Postdoctoral Research in Aerospace Manufacturing" from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) , College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (CMEE), between 2017-2022. 

He is listed in Top 2% World Scientists by Stanford University between 2022-2023. He has won "Jiangsu Excellent Postdoctoral Award" in 2022. 

At present, he is mainly engaged in the research of high-speed machining of Ti-alloys, Inconel alloys, composite alloys, high strength steel alloys, development of new cooling/lubrication technologies to improve the machinability of difficult-to-cut materials, sustainable manufacturing, Sustainability evaluation, Simulation of cutting process, etc.  

He has won one NSFC Research Fund for International Scientists (RFIS-1) as PI, and participated in a number of national, provincial and ministerial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. 

He has collaborated with researchers from Imperial College London (IPL), Ontario Tech Institute of Technology, Canada, Opole University of Technology, Poland, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Sinop University Turkey, Shandong University, China, University of Brunei Darussalam, University of Bahrain,  

He is an Associate Editor of a Journal, Editorial board member of the Journals, and Guest Editor of several special issues.    

He is reviewer of many prestigious journals, such as Journal of Manufacturing Processes, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Machining Science and Technology, Sustainable Material and Technologies, Materials, Metals, Sustainability MDPI Journals.
